The latest entry in the popular Call of Duty (COD) video game franchise, Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare, is now live onXbox One.

Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare features a new single-player story campaign, support for local two-player games, and online multiplayer in several different modes with up to 20 players. The game will also support 4K Ultra HD when played on an Xbox One X console and comes in three different digital versions.

TheCall of Duty: Modern Warfare Digital Standard Editioncomes with the base game, a custom in-game Tactical Knife, and a XRK Weapons Pack while theOperator Editioncomes with everything in the Digital Standard Edition plus the All Ghillied Up, Crew Expendable, and War Pig Operator Pack digital content. TheOperator Enhanced Editioncomes with everything in the other two versions but also includes 3,000 Call of Duty Points.

Potentially by coincidence, though likely as part of a strategy on Microsoft’s part, popular streamer Shroud, whomade the jump to the Microsoft-owned Mixer platform from Twitch just this morning, began streaming Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare as soon as it went live and has been garnering well over 25,000 concurrent viewers as of the time of this writing.

Shroud, who already has over 325, 000 followers onhis Mixer channel, likely brought over a large number of his Twitch followers who wanted to see him play the latest COD title as soon as possible. Like with Ninja, it will be interesting to see how much of his audience sticks with him on Mixer for the long term or chooses to go back to Twitch.

Have you played Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare yet on your Xbox One and have you watched any of Shroud’s stream? Let us know in the comments below and thenfollow us on Pinterest,Twitter, andFacebook for more Xbox and Mixer news.

For most of the kids of his age, the Internet was an amazing way to play and communicate with others, but he was deeply impressed by the flow of information and how easily you can find anything on the web.

Prior to founding Windows Report, this particular curiosity about digital content enabled him to grow a number of sites that helped hundreds of millions reach faster the answer they’re looking for.
