It appears that Microsoft might be looking to capitalize on the success of Monster Hunter: World by creating its own Monster Hunter game.
You may not be aware of it, but a little-known studio called Certain Affinity has been behind some of your favorite games for years now.
TheXboxOne is a powerful gaming system and if Microsoft wants to make a splash in this constantly growing market they will need to have big games available for the console.

Certain Affinity is maybe best known for its work on the Halo series and other AAA brands like Call of Duty.
Microsoft is reportedly working on a game called Project Suerte, which may be an Xbox One version of Capcom’s Monster Hunter series. The reports were confirmed byWindows Centraland could involve multi-player gameplay.
We don’t know anything else about Project Suerte (not even whether it will be called that when it comes out), but we can infer a few things from this announcement. From the name, which suggests that the game, codename Project Suerte, is “a ‘Monster Hunter’ inspired game,” implying big monster battles with multiplayer gameplay. If you’re going for Monster.
The cat’s out of the bag now, though, it is not clear when the official release date will be. It could be in 2023 or 2024 but will see how things progress.
