With the Delta wave of the Coronavirus still changing or disrupting the way people work and school from home, and making hybrid work seemingly permanent,Dellis here to help. The company has revealed a new suite of five monitors which are designed to enable everyone to work and connect regardless of their location.
Leading the lineup of new monitors is the Dell 14 Portable Monitor, coming on August 31 for $350. This portable monitor sports a lightweight design and weighs less than 2 pounds, allowing you to pack it in your bag and travel with it. It sports an FHD resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio, and 300 nit IPS Panel, with easy play and play USB-C connectivity. It even can bend from 10 to 20 degrees thanks to a sleek stand.
For a more at-home situation, there’s the Dell 24 and Dell 27 Video Conferencing Monitors. These two monitors are designed for video calls with a built-in 5MP privacy pop-up camera, noise-canceling microphones, and dual 5W speakers. The monitors have a 75Hz refresh rate, USB-C connectivity, and AMD Freesync onboard.
Capping off the lineup is the Dell 27 4K UHD USB-C Monitor as well as the Dell 27 USB-C Monitor. As the name suggests, these slim-bezel monitors are all about their USB-C connectivity. A single cable delivers video, audio, and data while charging your device. The monitors also have AMD Freesync technology onboard, with a 75Hz refresh rate. Note that the Dell 27 comes in at 2560 x 1440 resolution, whereas the Dell 27 4K sports full 4K 3840 x 2160 resolution.
The smaller Dell 24 Video Conferencing Monitor (1920 x 1080 resolution) will go on sale on September 7 for $440, and the larger Dell 27 Video Conferencing Monitor (2560 x 1440 resolution) later on October 12 for $600. As for the remainder of the monitors, the Dell 27 4K UHD USB-C and the Dell 27 USB-C are both available today for $500, and $619, respectively.
