Bungie has announced in a newblog postthat from May 25, 2021 to May 27, 2021, there will be a special crossplay beta test live in Destiny 2. Specifically, there will be a new Vanguard Strikes Cross Play Beta playlist that players on Xbox, PlayStation, PC, and Stadia can participate in. This playlist will match players with people who are playing on other platforms, giving Bungie’s engineers an opportunity to test out crossplay and identify potential issues. Notably, you won’t be able to form fireteams with your friends in this test since Bungie is specifically testing the crossplay matchmaking.

Notably, players who choose to participate in this test will be able to earn a unique exclusive emblem called Stars Crossed. This emblem is colorful and has a cool design, and since it’s extremely easy to get, there’s no reasonnotto hop into the beta playlist to get it. You can check it out below. Crossplay is expected to come to Destiny 2 in full in Season 15, which is expected to start on August 24, 2021.
