It’sPatchTuesdaytime andAdobeleads the pack, again. WhileJanuary 2020 Patch Tuesdaywasn’t the biggest forAdobe, things seem to be different with this set ofsecurityupdates.

It’s already common forAdobeto release itssecurityupdates a bit sooner. Now, with theFebruary 2020PatchTuesday, the companypatcheda set of importantvulnerabilitiesfor almost all of its products.

Adobe products are affected by 40 CVEs

It seems like from the lastsecurityupdates there are around 40 CVEs that could affect different Adobe products. These CVEs have severity ranges from Important to Critical.

Somewhat expected, Adobe Acrobat and Reader along with Adobe Framemaker have the mostvulnerabilities.

While Experience Manager, Digital Editions, and Flash Player have priorities of 2 and 3 and werepatchedfor Denial-of-service, Information Disclosure, and Arbitrary Code Execution, for Acrobat, Reader, and Framemaker things are different.

Adobe Acrobat and Reader have the most vulnerabilities

The last three have a priority rating of 2 and 3 also, but the majority ofvulnerabilitiesare marked as Critical.

Besides the Arbitrary Code Execution and Information Disclosure, these products are susceptible to Memory Leak and Arbitrary file system write, which makes them more dangerous.

To keep your system safe,Adoberecommends to immediatelyupdatethe affected programs to their latest version. This way, you can make sure that the mentioned CVEs can’t affect your PC.

Usually, Adobe productupdateautomatically when a newupdateis detected. If you want toupdateyour product manually, you can do so by choosing Help > Check for Updates.

Alternatively, you can also find the full installers with the latest version onAdobe’s website.
