Enshrouded’s first major update makes performance improvements and offers solution to system memory error

Keen Games has released the first major update forEnshrouded, addressing a variety of performance issues and bugs.
Enshroudedis a survival action role-playing game that launched onSteamin early access on January 24 and has today (February 6) received its first big patch with a ton of changes aimed at improving the game’s stability following a number of reports from players.
One known issue that has been causing some problems is a “not enough system memory available” error message when starting the game. According to Keen Games, this message would trigger “when your machine has under 16GB of RAM” and is there to “warn” players that their game experience might be poor because of it.
Although the issue has not been fixed, players can resolve it themselves by adding “–disable-ram-check” to the game’s launch options viaSteamto ignore the warning."
Version 0.7.0.1 has also resolved a bunch of rare crashing issues, including one that could appear onAMD GPUs, improved performance for various in-game systems, and fixed an issue that sometimes prevented players from successfully logging into a dedicated server.
Additionally, the in-game reset timer for content in the world has been lowered to 30 minutes and will still only occur while no player is in the direct vicinity of the part of the world that needs resetting. You can read the fullpatch notesbelow.
The game, which has been received well so far in early access and is sitting with a “Very Positive” rating onSteam, is also set to arrive onPlayStation 5andXbox Series X|Slater down the line.
