We’re entering into a new month with June, 2021, and players are expecting the next several weeks to be filled with an unending stream of video game announcements and reveals thanks tomajor video game eventslike the imminentE3 2021conference. To kick off the month of June, Xbox has expectantly revealed thegames coming to Xbox Game Pass in the first half of June, but some players may be disappointed by the paltry selection joiningXbox Game Passin the near future.
The highlights of this batch of Xbox Game Pass titles includes the official launch of The Wild at Heart (announced earlier), For Honor, Darkest Dungeon, and Backbone. And…that’s it. There’s also a list offivegames leaving the service in the next few weeks, marking the first time in as long as I can remember that the number of games leaving Xbox Game Pass surpasses the number joining.
There might be a good reason for this, however, as Microsoft’sXbox and Bethesda E3 conference airs on June 13. It’s possible that Microsoft is holding their cards close to their chest for some major Xbox Game Pass-related announcements and news during the event, which might make the second half of June considerably more exciting. We’ll just have to wait and see to know for sure.
