In Fortnite’s newest update, v11.30 contains a number of bug fixes, performance updates, and now offers split-screen multiplayer support on Xbox One and PS4.As noted in a post on the Fortnite v11.30 update, gamers can now play with their friends locally, split-screen in Fortnite. With split-screen support on Xbox One, Fortnite gamers can play Duos and Squads with a friend on the same console. Since this is an early release of split-screen support, the Fortnite team implores you to use the in-game feedback tool to report any issues.
In addition to bug fixes, here’s a look at the new features available in the Fortnite v11.30 update.
In addition to the aforementioned changes, theFortnite team also made changes for the upcoming Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalkerevent this Saturday, December 14, 2019, at 2:00 PM ET. The Rise of Skywalker event will feature director J.J. Abrams reveal “exclusive scene in-game ahead of the movie’s release, only in Fortnite! Remember to drop in early at 1:30 PM ET when the doors open.”
