Microsoft Build 2021is only a few days away. The conference for developers will be an all-virtual event that runs from May 25 - 27.Registrations for the eventare already open, and you can also check out Microsoft’s ‘Hello World’ shows from this week to learn more about the event.
In addition to registering and studying up on the event, you can get your PC, phone, smartwatch, and other devices ready by grabbing some backgrounds and wallpapers. OnGitHub, there’s a collection of images that you can use as desktop wallpapers, backgrounds for Microsoft Teams, and more. We’ve shared a few compressed versions of the wallpapers below, but you should check out the full collection.

The full versions of the wallpapers are high-quality 4K images. The Microsoft Teams backgrounds are the same pictures but have been reduced to a more Teams-friendly size. The watch faces feature icons for various Microsoft imagery on plain backgrounds, including the logos for PowerToys, Visual Studio, and Win UI.
Build is a conference aimed at developers, so you can usually expect information on Visual Studio, APIs for apps, and other ways that Microsoft is working to improve the developer experience. This year, we may also see Microsoft discusses new design guidelines or Microsoft Store policy changes, but that’s merely speculation based on previous Build events.
