What you need to know
Several days after the reveal ofHalo Infinite’s multiplayer gameplayat the Xbox E3 2021 show, 343 Industries has posted a brand newblog postthat shows off some of the different armor sets that players will be able to earn in-game when the game launches during the Holiday 2021 season. Additionally, some of the accessories and alternate attachments you’ll be able to wear were shown off as well, including a prosthetic arm, an ordnance pack, and a large shoulder plate. The developer also showed images and announced the names of several of the multiplayer maps that will be inHalo Infinitealong with some short text blurbs about each one. The names of the maps are Behemoth, Fragmentation, Recharge, Live Fire, and Bazaar. You can view each of them below:
What do you think of these armor sets and multiplayer maps at a glance? Let me know. Personally, I think everything looks fantastic. Make sure you check out the full blog post for additional images of previously-seen weapons, vehicles, and more as well.
With any luck, Halo infinite will prove to be one of thebest Xbox gamesever made when it releases later this year. I’m looking forward to playing it when it comes toXbox Series X,Xbox Series S, Xbox One consoles, and Windows 10 (andWindows 11) PCs. Notably, you can preorder the game now for $60, but if you’re only interested in the multiplayer, it will be completely free. There’s also aHalo Infinite beta coming in summer 2021you can sign up to be a part of (check our guide onhow to sign up for Halo Infinite’s betafor more information).
A new Great Journey awaits
Halo Infinite is the biggest Xbox game of the year by far, and based on what we saw at E3 2021, it looks like it’s going to be fantastic.
