Halo Infinite Xbox One gameplay debuts ahead of beta test

Ahead of the firstHalo Infinite betatest, 343 Industries debuted official footage ofHalo Infiniterunning on a base Xbox One console in a livestream on the officialHalo Twitch channel. The gameplay shown was a full test match being played by developers on the map Bazaar.
The gameplay shown was surprisingly smooth considering the fact that the Xbox One is eight years old, which shows just how well 343 Industries has managed to scale the game down to make it perform well on outdated hardware. What’s even more impressive is how good the game looks on the Xbox One, which is exciting for last gen players who have no doubt been worried that the game would look poor on their systems. To be fair, we haven’t seen how the campaign looks or runs yet, but the performance of the multiplayer gives us high hopes.
