If you missed it, earlier this week, a “leaked” version of Windows 10X for single-screen PCssurfaced on the internet. Thanks to a tweet from Albacore (@thebookisclosed) and the work of the Windows community (fellow Windows activists,) we took the “leaked” VHD file and installed it on a virtual machine.

It should be noted that the leaked version isn’t considered final and many things could change between now and when 10X becomes official. Still, though, it offers an interesting peek at the future of Windows.

Watch our video as we tour you through some of the new things in Windows 10X. We’ll tour you through the Action Center, the Start Menu, as well as showcase some of the new animations. We’ll even open some of the stock apps, and showcase split-screen multitasking, too.

We also invite you to check out ourinitial hands-on post from a few days ago, In that post, we go a bit more in-depth and showcase how it’s a bit more like ChromeOS.

For most of the kids of his age, the Internet was an amazing way to play and communicate with others, but he was deeply impressed by the flow of information and how easily you can find anything on the web.

Prior to founding Windows Report, this particular curiosity about digital content enabled him to grow a number of sites that helped hundreds of millions reach faster the answer they’re looking for.
