Today is Windows 11 day and that meansMicrosoft is highlightingthe new PCs shipping with the latest and greatest Windows operating system pre-installed. Obviously, Microsoft would like to tout its own Windows 11 integration efforts with its own Surface hardware, but there are other PCs available for purchase from its partners, too. We have a recap of some of these PCs if you’re hoping to buy one soon.

Surface devices

Two weeks ago, Microsoft unveiled a handful of new Surface devices that will come preinstalled with Windows 11 such as the Surface Laptop Studio, Surface Pro 8, Surface Go 3, and Surface Pro X.

For Surface devices, Windows 11 integration involves haptics both on the screens as well as synchronizing with the new Surface Slim Pen 2 to provide even more granular drawing, writing, and sketching experiences. Windows 11 also comes with support for variable refresh rates for up to 120Hz on screen.

Asus

Asusrevealed its Windows 11 powered PC lineupa few weeks ago to include the ProArt Studiobook 16 and 16 Pro with OLED, Vivobook Pro 14 and 16X, and Zenbook 14X with OLED. Unlike Microsoft, Asus is experimenting with AMD as well as Intel for its lineup and has put an AMD Ryzen 5000 Series in its ProArt Studiobook Pro 16 OLED as well as a 3rd Generation Intel Xeon workstation processor option. The ProArt Studio will also come with an NVIDIA RTX A5000 or A2000 graphics processor and 16:10 display. All five devices will come with Windows 11 out of the box.

HP

Meanwhile,HP is touting its HP Spectre x360 16as well as HP ENVY 34 All-in-One PC and its multi-placement webcam feature as well as the HP 11-inch Tablet PC HP 14-inch, HP Pavilion All-in-One desktop PC, and the All-in-One Desktop PC with the last two packing AMD Ryzen 5000 series processors or Intel’s latest.

Lenovo

Lenovo brings its Yoga Slim Carbonweighing just 2.37 pounds, Yoga Slim Pro, and with a 16-inch QHD In-Plan Switching (IPS) touch 16:10 QHD display to the Windows 11 launch party.

Once again, Lenovo is giving users configuration options between AMD Ryzen 7 5800U and H-Series Mobile processors as well as NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Laptop level GPUs and GeForce MX450.

While neither of the previous two companies have said their displays will support Windows 11 120 Hz refresh rates, Lenovo is offering 90Hz for Yoga Slim Carbon. Lenovo’s devices claim to have better cooling brighter screens, and 100% sRGB color gamut’s.

Acer

Acer is introducing itsAspire Verowhich is a PC made from recycled plastics. The company describes this new WIndows laptop over on its website:

In addition to VeroSense which helps to manage the energy efficiency of the laptop with options that range from Eco+, Eco, Balanced, and Performance Acer is also looking durability with its new 15.6 FHD IPS display design.

If you’re out of luck and can’t upgrade your existing PC or laptop to Windows 11, then these laptops, tablets, and All-in-Ones are a good choice. Pricing, availability vary based on the manufacturer, so best to check the laptop maker’s website for more. information.
