This month’s Patch Tuesday updates didn’t go well for allWindows 10users. Some patches came with a series of bugs of their own.
Microsoft recently released a newWindows 10cumulative updates to fix a bug affecting uk.gov websites.UpdateKB4505057bumps the existing version ofWindows 10to18362.116.
The patch addresses two important issues introduced by the previous releases.

Gov.uk access issue fixed
ThisWindows 10cumulative update fixed the issue that was restricting Microsoft Edge and Internet Explorer 11browsersfrom accessing gov.uk websites.
The issue was caused by the May 2019 Patch Tuesday Updates that forced Microsoft Edge and Internet Explorer touse HTTPSto connect to gov.uk sites.
However, the company later confirmed that thebrowserscould no longer connect to some gov.uk websites.
Installation failure bug fix
This release also addresses another bug that was introduced with the previous builds. This bug was restricting new installations on the operating system with the error 0x800f081f – CBS_E_SOURCE_MISSING.

The update is available on your system as an automatic download. Microsoft released cumulativeupdatesfor all supported versions ofWindows 10.
Apparently, Microsoft wanted to fix this bug ASAP. The tech giant rarely releasesupdatesforWindows 10Insider builds over the weekend.
KB4505057 known issues
Microsoft acknowledged a single known issue in KB4505057. The Redmond giant warned its users thatWindows SandboxorWindows Defender Application Guardmay fail to launch with the error code 0x800705b4.
This guidemight help you to fix this error just in case.
We can assume that the much-awaited May 2019 Update is officially rolling out this week. Microsoft plans to release theupdatein different phases to avoid major technical issues.
