AsMicrosoftprepares for the November 2019 Update, it has released the finishing touches before going live.

These touches come in the form of cumulativeupdateKB4522355, which has been released for the Release Preview ring. More precisely, thisupdatewill affect those devices runningWindows 1019H1 and 19H2.

For those of you that don’t knowWindows 1019H1 is also known asWindows 10 May 2019 Update(or version 1903).

Windows 1019H2 is expected to be launched next month and is referred to asWindows 10November 2019 Update (or version 1909).

In typicalMicrosoftfashion, changelogs are not available for Release Preview Ring updates.

However,Windows Insiderusers who are currently in the Release Preview ring and are runningWindows 1019H1 build 18362.448 are updated to 18362.449 after installing KB4522355.

On the other hand,Windows Insiderusers that are runningWindows 1019H2 build 18363.448 will see it bumped up to build number 18363.449 after theupdate.

Anofficial statementfromMicrosoftmade it public how they plan on delivering theupdate:

OnceWindows Insidersare on the final 19H2 build (Build 18363.418) – we will continue to improve the overall experience of 19H2 on customers’ PCs as part of our normal servicing cadence. No further details have been given regarding what theWindows 10November 2019 Update will bring. However, users have great expectations especially since this is supposed to be the second majorupdateof the year.

Their expectations are also fueled by the fact that theOctober 2019 updatesdidn’t bring much new to the table. As such, users are hoping this latestupdatewill focus on fixing general issues and bringing major improvements.

According to some sources,Windows 10November 2019 Update could go live on November 12.
