Microsoft has startedrolling out an updatefor the Windows Web Experience Pack that powers Windows widgets and will now enable widgets notifications on the taskbar. Widgets are small cards that show dynamic content from users’ favorite apps and services on users’ Windows desktops, like the weather and news widgets.
The latest Windows Web Experience Pack update is aimed to provide more relevant and live content on the taskbar. Most widely known for the weather forecast, there are also other widgets like health, sports, finance, and breaking news. Microsoft also said that, Windows will getWindows 11 22H2 first major updatefor the operating system, expected will release in late September 2022.
As per theNeowin story, the taskbar shows the weather news most of the time changing from time to time to other widgets. If a user doesn’t interact with the notifications that show on the taskbar, the taskbar will return to show the weather news.
