Lenovo announced a slew of new devices today, includinglaptops, tablets,monitors, and more. To go along with those devices, the company also unveils the Lenovo Smart Wireless Earbuds. They’re a pair of water-resistant buds (IPX4) that can get up to 28 hours of battery life when paired with their wireless charging case. They also reduce ambient noise by up to 38 decibels. The headphone space is crowded, but Lenovo hopes to compete with thebest wireless earbuds.
The Lenovo Smart Wireless Earbuds can connect to two devices simultaneously with Bluetooth. The earbuds will prioritize audio output when connected to two devices.
The earbuds can be controlled with touch gestures, such as a tap to play music. The controls are customizable with the companion app of the Lenovo Smart Wireless Earbuds. You can also control the buds with Google Assistant using your voice.
The spec sheet from Lenovo doesn’t mention support for Windows PCs, but the company’s press release does.
Lenovo hasn’t shared an exact release date for its Smart Wireless Earbuds, but they’ll come out at some point in Q3 2021. When they do go on sale, they’ll cost $100. The earbuds will be available in white or black.
