Mass Effect: Legendary Editionis on the way, with a new gameplay trailer, tons of information and more. Additionally, if you want an idea of just how much work has gone into remastering these titles, EA and BioWare have shared a handful of screenshots from the first game.

In addition to the shot above of Sovereign on Eden Prime, you can take a look at some comparisons for the planet Virmire below. The original version of the game is on the left, while the Legendary Edition is on the right. You can tap or click the images to enlarge them.

The original Mass Effect had the most changes in this remaster, with the UI and controls changed to match later titles more closely. Over 40 DLC packs are included in this remaster, with the Mass Effect 3 multiplayer and Pinnacle Station not being included.

Mass Effect: Legendary Edition is coming toXbox Series X,Xbox Series S, Xbox One, PC, PS5 and PS4 on May 14, 2021. BioWare is also working on anew Mass Effect gamealtogether but it’s along ways off.
