Microsoft recently acknowledged thatKB4495667may sometimes trigger various Excel issues.

The company says that some fonts can affect the layout of documents created in Microsoft Excel after the installation of theupdate.

When using the MS UI Gothic or MS PGothic fonts, the text, layout, or cell size may become narrower or wider than expected in Microsoft Excel. For example, the layout and cell size of Microsoft Excel sheets may change when using MS UI Gothic.

The tech giant recently release theMay 2019 Patch Tuesday updatesfixing this problem. If you don’t want to download the latestWindows 10updates, Microsoft suggests there are two options to get rid of this issue.

You can either uninstall the recently installed optionalupdatesor use a switch to a different Japanese font like MS Mincho or Yu Gothic.

As a quick reminder, Microsoft didn’t release any new features inWindows 10Cumulative UpdateKB4495667. However, theupdatecame with a series of performance enhancements and bug fixes.

Microsoft announced that it would no longer provide official support andsecurity updatesto Windows 7 usersbeyondJanuary 14, 2020.Hence, theWindows 10user base is expected to increase by the end of this year.
