The Fortnite Crew Pack for May 2021 has been revealed and it’s arguably one of the biggest yet.

In addition to the new skin, which is exclusive to active Fortnite Crew members in the month of May, and the bonus 1,000 V-Bucks, next month’s pack also includes a permanent access to the Save the World game mode.

With one month of Fortnite Crew costing $11.99 and thecurrent bundle to unlock Save the World costing $15.99, this really is a no-brainer for those players who had been thinking of playing Save the World sometime in the future. It’s especially good value considering the fact that this is a permanent unlock. Players could do Fortnite Crew for one month and then cancel it if they like.

The free skin, 1,000 V-Bucks (valued at $7.99), Battle Pass unlock (which usually costs 950 V-Bucks), and three months of Spotify Premium (for new users only) also add extra value for players.

As for the skin, May’s Fortnite Crew character is Deimos, a “skeletal soul-snatcher.” In addition to the popular Battle Royale mode, Deimos will also be playable in Save the World as well. All of the accessories are described as being part of the “upcoming” Neo Underworld Set which suggests that they may be buyable by non-Crew members at a later date. Right now, it’s unclear though.

While theApril Fortnite Crew skin was a bit of a letdown, this month has been pretty exciting for players with thearrival of content inspired by the Horizon Zero Dawn video game franchiseand the unlock of the Neymar Jr content for Battle Pass owners.

The current season of Fortnite,Chapter 2 Season 6, is set to end in early-June so the in-game story is likely to pick up speed again soon as we get closer to the finale. It’s unclear what Season 7 could look though it’s probably safe to assume there’ll be at least a mention of The Seven and possibly some clues about the nature of “The Loop.”
