Microsoft today announcedthat it has acquiredMover,a cloud file migration service. The company hopes that this will further boost its customer’s abilities to move content to the cloud, and Microsoft 365.

According to Microsoft, as part of this new acquisition, and working with Mover, customers will be able to enjoy “fast and reliable migrations to the cloud, with best practices and security and more connectors to more source systems.” Mover already supports migration from many other cloud services and holds “deep expertise and migration technology.” Microsoft believes this will help advance its initiatives to successfully move companies to the Microsoft Cloud and Microsoft 365 in the most efficient matter.
