Microsoft confirms that Xbox controllers are running out of stock

If you are currently looking for an Xbox controller, but haven’t had any luck with that, it is because they are running out of stock.As spotted by VGC, it may be difficult for gamers to find a new controller across stores in the UK, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Australia, and the US.

Microsoft indicated that “We know it may be hard finding Xbox Wireless Controllers right now due to supply disruptions” a Microsoft spokesperson told VGC, “We’re working as fast as possible with our manufacturing and retail partners to improve this. Please check with your local retailer for availability.”

This means that the demand for the controllers will outweigh the supply. Till Microsoft gets hold of this situation, you are better off being extra careful with your Xbox controller, although you can still preorder custom-made controllers fromXbox Design Lab.
