The latest generation in the Surface Pro line is the Surface Pro 3 and Microsoft wants its customers to be interested only about it, as it seems that sales of the Surface Pro 2 have stopped. It seems that Microsoft has decided to stop selling the Surface Pro 2 device in its online stores and perhaps at brick-and-mortar locations, as well. If you will go and check out theofficial webpage, you will see the above products only – the Surface 2, Surface Pro 3 and various accessories, with no sign of the last-year’s Surface Pro 2 model.

As a matter of fact, the previous product link is currently a dead one, which means Microsoft has removed the product from its online listing. It’s been a while now since the device is no longer to be found online, so this means that Microsoft won’t be bringing it back.

What this means for consumers is that bargains could soon follow, since retailers will most likely try to deplete their 1-year old stock. On Amazon, things are the same, where one of Microsoft’s partners has just 5 more units left in stock, with the current price being set at $880 for the 128 GB version.

If you’re not sure whether the Surface Pro 2 is still an interesting purchase, I recommend to check out our previous post on this –Microsoft Surface Pro 3 vs Surface Pro 2: Should I Upgrade? Personally, I’d get a Surface Pro 2 if I will be able to spot a nice bargain. What about you?

For most of the kids of his age, the Internet was an amazing way to play and communicate with others, but he was deeply impressed by the flow of information and how easily you can find anything on the web.

Prior to founding Windows Report, this particular curiosity about digital content enabled him to grow a number of sites that helped hundreds of millions reach faster the answer they’re looking for.
