The Microsoft Edge Insider Dev channel hasjumped to version 97 yesterday, with the first build 97.0.1060.2 bringing new PDF and password management features. Microsoft Edge is the default PDF reader on Windows 10 and Windows 11, and this new build improves the viewing and markup experience even further.
Microsoft Edge has also become a great password manager, and this new build makes it possible to create new website accounts or apply coupons and check out on shopping sites in a single click. You can find the full list of new features in the Edge Insider Dev build 97.0.1060.2 below:
As usual, this new build also brings a couple of bug fixes, and you can learn more details onthis page. With Edge 97 landing on the Dev channel this week, Edge 96 has also made its way to the Beta channel and should reach the Stable channel at the end of the month. If you’re using Linux, Microsoft Edgefinally came out of betathis week and it supports all the major Linux variants.
