Now thatdownload links for the macOS version of Microsoft Edgehave been shared by Microsoft watcher WalkingCat yesterday, it turns out that the Microsoft Edge Beta channel for Windows 10 is now available to download thanks to another leak. Twitter user ADeltaX shared the download links earlier today ahead of an official announcement for Microsoft, and we’ve been able to try it on one of our PCs.
For the sake of completeness, I’ll link the web-installer and 2 full installers.

Compared to the Dev and Canary channels, the Beta channel will be updated much less frequently, with new builds coming every six weeks. Microsoft says on the Microsoft Edge Insider website that it should be “the most stable Microsoft Edge preview experience,” though we did experience one crash after installing the beta version on a Surface Pro 4 today.
Microsoft had several sessions dedicated to its new Chromium-based Edge this week, and the web browser willsoon get a new Collections feature, a Privacy dashboard, an Internet Explorer mode, as well as aFluent Design update. It remains to be seen if the new Beta channel will officially launch before the end of Build 2019, but a public announcement is likely imminent.
