New FPS Boost feature on Xbox Series X|S brings frame rate improvements to select backwards compatible games

Backwards compatible games on Xbox Series X|S are getting some additional enhancements, thanks to anew feature called FPS Boost. Whilst only a small selection of games will support the feature at first, games that do benefit will often see their framerate doubled, in some cases to 120 FPS.

Microsoft’s new $99 Xbox Wireless headset to launch on March 16, pre-order it now

Out of the middle of nowhere,Microsoft has announced its latest Xbox accessory, the Xbox Wireless Headset. Launching on March 16 for $99, the new headset packs a punch, with a range of features, including multiple surround sound audio formats including Dolby Atmos, as well as mic indicator lighting, and more. It will use the same wireless connectivity as Xbox wireless controllers, to provide low-latency audio, whilst also having support for Bluetooth to connect to non-Xbox devices.
