Microsoft rolls out Windows 10 21H1 build 19043.906 to the Insider Beta Channel

What you need to know

Microsoft isrolling outa new update for Insiders in the Beta Channel that brings with it one new fix. The update applies to the 21H1 release of Windows 10, which is expected to begin rolling out this spring. 21H1 so far is a relatively minor update, with a focus on business critical changes and enhancements.

Today’s build is 19043.906 and the following is fixed:

21H1 will introducethe ability to use external Windows Hello peripherals, and removes the legacy Microsoft Edge application in favor of the new Chromium powered Microsoft Edge. Not much else is being changes with 21H1, as Microsoft is working on a much larger Windows 10 update codenamed Sun Valley scheduled for later this year.

Just like 20H2 and 19H2, 21H1 will be delivered to those running the latest version of Windows as a cumulative update, not as a fully fledged build. That means the update will take less time to install, and is generally a safer process overall.
