Back in July of this year (2019), the Xbox team began testing anew dashboard lookand flow with users opting into its Alpha and Skip Ahead release builds. The new dashboard is a bit more streamlined than the one that showed up with the original release of the Xbox One.

The UX team working on the reinvented dashboard applied emphasis on “dynamic content” surfacing in the UI while allowing for more customization of the home screen, allowing users to quickly access specific menus.

Today’s additions look to continue the theme of quick access by enabling new ways for users to set up their Home more their liking.

The new additions should be rolling out to Alpha and Skip Ahead beta testers through today pending a new download on an Xbox One console.
