Microsoft strives to mitigate the needs of every student by trying to make classroom tools accessible to everyone. In an attempt to achieve this, through a recent update, Microsoft Teams hasadded support for Ukrainian, Somali, and Zulu languages, bringing the total number of supported languages to 105.

The addition of these languages is an elaborate measure employed by Microsoft to ensure that all the students from Ukraine get to have a smooth transition and do not miss out on their studies because of the language barrier.

With that said, the auto-detect speech detection for the Ukrainian language in Reading Progress has already reached general availability. Ukrainian students can now make use of the tool to translate whatever is being taught in class, which in return makes the learning and teaching process more effective and efficient.

Immersive Reader and Microsoft Translator are also part of the initiative that will help students progress with their studies as they provide support for the Ukrainian language and are also available in tools across Microsoft 365. Microsoft has also rolled out Read Aloudsupport for Somali and Zuluin Immersive Reader. Be sure to check outour expert guide on how to use Immersive Reader.

Radu Tyrsina has been a Windows fan ever since he got his first PC, a Pentium III (a monster at that time).

For most of the kids of his age, the Internet was an amazing way to play and communicate with others, but he was deeply impressed by the flow of information and how easily you can find anything on the web.

Prior to founding Windows Report, this particular curiosity about digital content enabled him to grow a number of sites that helped hundreds of millions reach faster the answer they’re looking for.
