Microsoft is working on suggested replies and contextual search for Microsoft Teams, two new features that should help you save a little bit of time and effort. According to the Microsoft 365 Roadmap document, thecontextual searchis timed for roll out beginning in June, andsuggested repliesto follow late in the fourth quarter.
With contextual search, Microsoft Teams will be able to anticipate what you really want to search on a channel or chat, which should eliminate the need to go through multiple pages of search results as people currently do. “Users will now have the ability to search for content in a specific channel or chat by pressing CTRL + F,” the company explained on theMicrosoft 365 roadmap.
Suggested replies is the other new feature coming to Microsoft Teams later this year. With this feature, Microsoft Teams will provide three related options for select messages that can be addressed with a short response. Users will be able to quickly respond to a particular message simply by tapping on a suggested reply. In case you missed it, we remind you that Outlook on the web is also getting a similar “Suggested replies” feature, so it’s nice to see Microsoft finally adding it to its Teams collaboration app too.
Do you think that contextual search and suggested replies can be pretty handy to improve your productivity? Let us know in the comments down below.

For most of the kids of his age, the Internet was an amazing way to play and communicate with others, but he was deeply impressed by the flow of information and how easily you can find anything on the web.
Prior to founding Windows Report, this particular curiosity about digital content enabled him to grow a number of sites that helped hundreds of millions reach faster the answer they’re looking for.
