Microsoft Teams is getting ready tolaunch two new Presenter Modesfor meetings. Indeed, Reporter and Side-by-Side views will start rolling out to desktop users in mid-August, according to the Microsoft 365 Admin Center.

The Microsoft Teams’ Presenter Modecurrently only provides a Standout modeto customize how the speaker appears when presenting in meetings, but these new options will help to make Teams meetings more professional. With Reporter mode, attendees will see the video feed and content above the presenter’s shoulder as a visual aid, much like a news anchor during TV news bulletins.

Side-by-Side mode is the other new layout coming to the Presenter mode in Microsoft Teams meetings to display the speaker’s video feed alongside the content. “When a presenter selects Side-by-side mode, participants will see the presenter’s video feed and content overlaid on a background image,” the company explained.

While these new Presenter Modes will first become generally available for all commercial customers worldwide in the coming weeks, the company is also planning to roll out this feature to GCC tenants in September. Do you think Reporter and Side-by-Side modes can help to make your presentation experience more interactive and engaging? Sound off in the comments below.

For most of the kids of his age, the Internet was an amazing way to play and communicate with others, but he was deeply impressed by the flow of information and how easily you can find anything on the web.

Prior to founding Windows Report, this particular curiosity about digital content enabled him to grow a number of sites that helped hundreds of millions reach faster the answer they’re looking for.
