Microsoft is planning to add support for restarting Live Events in Teams. The feature was recently added toMicrosoft 365 roadmapand will be available for both desktop and web clients.
Currently, producers can’t stop and restart the Live Event later, and they need to schedule a new event for attendees. With the new feature, producers or presenters will see an option to restart their Live Event after encountering a problem or accidentally ending it. As noted on the Microsoft 365 roadmap, the capability is expected to roll out in June this year.
Along with it, Microsoft is also adding the ability to opt-out of the multi-window producer experience for Live Events. The software giant announcedmulti-window support for managing Teams Live Eventslast month. However, it does not provide access to the Call Health Panel for now, and this issue could prove particularly frustrating for some users.
The company is recommending Office 365 admins to revert their tenants to the single view experience until the Call Health Panel is available in the end of June. “If you wish to continue with the current Multi-Window Producer experience there is nothing you need to do. If you would like to opt-out, please send mail to[email protected]with your tenant ID,” the company announced in a message on the Microsoft 365 Admin Center.
Microsoft Teams continues to thrive in this new hybrid workplace era. The firm has recently rolled out many new features, including a newCalling experienceandsupport for interactive webinarsfor up to 1,000 attendees. The app has alsointroduced an option to share contentdirectly from a mobile screen to Teams Rooms devices.

For most of the kids of his age, the Internet was an amazing way to play and communicate with others, but he was deeply impressed by the flow of information and how easily you can find anything on the web.
Prior to founding Windows Report, this particular curiosity about digital content enabled him to grow a number of sites that helped hundreds of millions reach faster the answer they’re looking for.
