Late this afternoon Microsoft announced the release of cumulative update build 21296.1010 to the Dev Channel. Showing in Windows Update as KB4602812, this just a small release and doesn’t come with anything major. Rather, it is designed to test Microsoft’s servicing pipeline.

You should be seeing this update ifyou’ve installed build 21296 last week. As a reminder, that build rolls out an update to the converged clipboard history design (WIN + V) to support pinning, unpinning, deleting, and syncing individual entries. It also delivers the ability to manage and create Storage Spaces from within Settings for more Windows Insiders.

Now that Microsoft is testing its pipeline, we hope that it means that we’ll see another major build this week. These releases have been small, with theexception of build 21286which brought the new news and interests section in the taskbar. We’re still awaiting the rumored Design overhauls said to be coming later this yearwith the “Sunvalley” update.
