As with most in-person events in 2020, The Consumer Technology Association (CTA) alongside Microsoft is announcing an effort to take the Consumer Electronics Expo digital.
According tothe Official Microsoft Blog, Microsoft and the CTA are partnering to transition CES into its first-ever, all-digital event scheduled for January 11 through 14, 2020.
It is an extreme honor for Microsoft to be selected as CTA’s technology partner for CES, the world’s most influential technology event. It won’t surprise you to hear we’re bringing Microsoft Cloud solutions, including Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Power Platform, together with partner solutions to create the technology platform for the all-digital event that will bring together the entire global tech community and be the CES 2021 experience.
For now, the details of how Microsoft plans to implement its digital-first strategy to help CES 2021 are vague. However, having already produced a dozen major digital company events, hosting fan and user engagement forthe NBA finals, and thecurrent NFL seasonas well asseveral events for iHeartMedia, the company has more than enough experience and scale to leverage for CES 2021.
