The Windows 10 version of the Microsoft To Do app updated today with the new preference to have fresh tasks automatically added to the top of a list after they’re created. This change wasrecently added to the iOS and Android appsso it’s good to see some more consistency across versions.
This update also added announcements for when deleting data associated with tasks.

You asked, and we listened. You can now add new tasks to the top! But that’s not all, starred tasks can now move to the top too. Set your preference in settings.
We made a number of accessibility fixes including announcing the removal of due dates, recurring tasks and reminders.
