Microsoft isexpanding its Teams portfolioby introducing new “Intelligent Speaker” peripherals that are designed to work in meeting rooms and determine who in the room is talking when connected to a Teams meeting.
These new speakers can monitor up to 10 different people in one meeting room, and correctly identify and transcribe their conversations so that meeting participants not in the room can follow along. The speakers include a 7-array microphone that uses AI to identify and differentiate between the different voices, while matching specific voices to people’s profiles in Teams.
