The Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 isnow available to purchase onlineand in stores. Pre-orders for new controller have also begun shipping to customers.
The Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 is Microsoft’s successor to their Xbox Elite Wireless Controller which itself was a more advanced iteration of the regular Xbox Wireless Controller. While this new controller features a variety of subtle design improvements, the main reason to pick up the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 is the addition of Bluetooth support, which will help it function with a wider variety of devices, and a built-in rechargeable battery.
As with all of the other Xbox Wireless Controllers, the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 works with Windows 10 devices and Xbox One consoles and will also work with Microsoft’s upcoming next gen Xbox console, currently going by the codename Xbox Project Scarlett, due for release in late-2020.
The Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2can be purchased on the official Microsoft Store websiteandAmazonthough is also available in all of the usual online and offline retailers that sell video game supplies.
