Another week means anotherMinecraftbeta, and Mojang Studios is delivering today withMinecraft: Bedrock Edition Beta 1.17.30.22, which is now available for supported devices. While this is a beta for the massiveCaves and Cliffs Update, it’s still built on 1.17 Part One, so don’t expect any significant additions or alterations here. Still, there’s at least one thing to get excited for, at least for the devoted and detail-oriented members of the Minecraft community.

It’s been recently brought to light that the hotbar for Minecraft: Bedrock Edition is actually misaligned by a single pixel, a fact that nearly broke our own Jez Corden upon discovering. Fortunately, Mojang Studios recognized the egregious issue for what it was and immediately set out to fix it as soon as possible.

I just fixed a really old, really minor, yet really annoying bug in Bedrock. 10 Twitter points to the first person to spot it… 😉pic.twitter.com/gOLhhO8poOI just fixed a really old, really minor, yet really annoying bug in Bedrock. 10 Twitter points to the first person to spot it… 😉pic.twitter.com/gOLhhO8poO— David (@CornerHardMC)August 16, 2021August 16, 2021

The fix for the errant pixel is arriving in this Minecraft: Bedrock Edition beta, so the Minecraft community can collectively take a breath now. Of course, the gently askew hotbar was a minor aesthetic issue that didn’t really affect anything, but it’s still nice to see the detail rectified in this beta alongside the other, more major, improvements and bug fixes.

It’s this attention to detail from Mojang Studios and the Minecraft community that has elevated it to thebest Xbox gamesyou can play, and we kept that same attitude when scouring the web for the absolutebest Minecraft toys and giftsfor any Minecraft fan.
