Separated by one day from itsMinecraft: Java Edition sibling, Mojang Studios is now releasingMinecraft: Bedrock Edition Beta 1.17.40.23to testers on compatible platforms with a new batch of fixes. There are fixes for experimental flat worlds, mobs, items, and more to look forward to inMinecraft’s latest beta.

This beta is certainly more modest than its predecessor, and doesn’t include any significant new changes. Still, it continues Mojang’s work to bring the second half of theCaves and Cliffs Updateto Minecraft. Still, any progress is important, especially since 1.18 Caves and Cliffs Update Part Two is still expected to release later this year.
