Update, February 9, 2021, (3:00 pm CT): Mojang Studios has released a hotfix for their hotfix, with an additional fix just for Realms and dedicated servers.

Minecraftis a game that constantly evolves, and justreleased the decently-sized 1.16.200 updatefor all Minecraft: Bedrock Edition platforms. The update, still built onthe Nether Update, had a ton of bug fixes and improvements, a handful of new features, and some awesome additions specifically for Windows 10 andMinecraft with RTX ray tracing. Now, Mojang Studios is releasing a smaller hotfix withupdate 1.16.201that handles some of the glaring issues that have been plaguing players from the recent release last week.

This means we still don’t have anything new from the upcomingCaves and Cliffs Updatethat’s slated to release inSummer 2021, but it’s clear Mojang Studios wants Minecraft to be in the best possible place first.

Update, February 9, 2021 (3:00 pm CT) - Mojang Studios has released a new hotfix on top of the 1.16.201 update

Minecraft: Bedrock Edition is getting a new hotfix on top of the 1.16.201 hotfix targeted towards Minecraft Realms and dedicated servers. This fix does not require a game update and is server-side. The full fix is: “Fixed a crash with Realms / Dedicated servers that caused world progress to roll back. This fix does not require a game update, but requires a server update if you host a Bedrock Dedicated Server.”
