Minecraft Dungeonsis having a massive day. The hugeFlames of the Netherexpansion isbeing released on all platforms, andMinecraft Dungeons is now Optimizedfor theXbox Series XandXbox Series S. Most notably, balance changes include making Arch Haven and Soggy Cave secret locationsalwaysappear on Pumpkin Pastures and Soggy Swamp levels, respectively, fixing a huge pain point for many players. There are also tons of balances for weapons, enemies, and artifacts to hopefully make the game more balanced and see more loadouts being used. Finally, watch out for known issues in this update, which will hopefully be resolved in a future patch.
The Flames of the Nether update is rolling out today for Minecraft Dungeons on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One,PS5, PS4, PC, andSwitch. You can also play Minecraft Dungeons throughXbox Game Passand evenXbox Cloud Gaming (Project xCloud). Many changes are being released for free to all players. It’s been a busy first year for Minecraft Dungeons, and now the ARPG dungeon-crawling Minecraft spin-off is looking ahead towards its future, with four new expansions planned.
