Minecraft Dungeons, the cute dungeon crawler that Mojang released on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC last month will get its first DLC next week. Developer Mojang has justannouncedthat the Jungle Awakens expansion will be available on Wednesday, July 1, and it will be free for those of you who purchased the game’s Hero Edition or the$9.99 Hero Pass Upgrade.

As its name suggests it, this new expansion will add a Jungle biome, complete with new jungle-themed mobs, pandas, and exclusive loot to find. “Get ready to battle new mobs such as the Leapleaf and Whisperer before ultimately saving the day by defeating the Jungle Abomination,” Mojang teased today.

A second expansion for Minecraft Dungeons named Creeping Winter will be released later this year. As the main game can be completed in approximately five hours, the additional content will be very welcome. Minecraft Dungeons is currently priced at $19.99 on all platforms, but you can also play it for free with Xbox Game Pass for Console and PC. But again, the two DLCs need to bepurchased separatelyunless you opt for the $29.99 Hero Edition.
