As February is coming to a close, Microsoft has released new optional updates for Windows 10 versions 1809 and older today. If you’re still running version 1809 of the OS (or the October 2018 Update), you can install thebuild 17763.1075which brings improvements for Windows Hello, battery life improvements when your PC is in Modern Standby mode, and more. You can check out the highlights of this optional update below:

Keep in mind that all these fixes for Windows 10 version 1809 will be included in next month’s Patch Tuesday update. It’s also worth reminding that this version of Windows 10 will reach end of support for Home and Pro users in May, and if you have yet to upgrade to a newer version of the OS Microsoft will soon automatically initiate the update process on your PC. New optional updates are also available for Windows 10 versions1803,1709, and1607today, though these patches are only available for Enterprise and Education users.
