Microsoft has released today theWindows 10 Preview build 20180for Insiders in the Dev channel. Theprevious build 20161released on July 1 came with several changes that were only available for select Insiders, such as theme-aware tiles, but that’s changing with the new build released today.
“We are turning on much of the new features mentioned on July 1st in Build 20161 including theme-aware tiles on Start. The new pinned sites capability mentioned with last week’s flight of Build 20175 is still only available to a subset of Insiders,” the Windows Insider team explained today.
Today’s build also includes minor changes for the new tablet posture logic for 2-in-1 devices, as well as the search box in the Default Apps settings pages. You can learn more about other quality fixes and known issues below:

Following the close of Mixer last week, the Windows Insider team also announced that it will move the Windows Insider webcast to theWindows Insider YouTube channel. “We also have some new videos about making the most of the program, and we’ll continue to use this channel for webcasts and how-to content,” the team said today.
That’s it for today’s Windows Insider news. If you’re still running the preview Build 20161 or older on your PC, be aware that these builds will expire on July 31. It’s highly recommended to update to the preview 20170 or newer before that date. Lastly, if you’re on the Beta channel (previously Slow Ring), we remind you that Microsoft released the20H2 build 19042.421 last weekwhich includes Start Menu, Taskbar, and notifications improvements.
