NVIDIA staff member says gamers should uninstall the latest Windows 10 update to fix issues
The latest Windows 10 update is still causing issues, and NVIDIA suggests uninstalling it to help your PC.

Late last week, reports emerged of theWindows 10 KB5001330 update causing issuesfor people. Gamers appear to be more affected than most general users, as PCs run into stuttering, unstable framerates, and other issues while gaming. Now, anNVIDIA staff memberrecommends removing a Windows 10 update to fix the issue.
“If you are seeing lower performance in games, check if rolling back Windows 10 Update KB5000842 solves the issue,” says NVIDIA staff member “Manuel@NVIDAI.”
The comment actually mentions rolling back from the Windows 10 March optional update KB5000842, but the same issues appear to be present in the KB5001330 update. In either event, the solution appears to be to uninstall the update that is the likely culprit of the issues.
The issues aren’t limited to NVIDIA hardware. People with AMD-powered PCs have also run into stuttering and framerate issues. It seems that all PCs with thebest graphics cardscould run into issues with the most recent update.

Be aware that when you uninstall an update, you also uninstall any security improvements or other fixes that come with it. As a result, you may fix the game-related issues but leave your PC open to vulnerabilities. The suggestion from the NVIDIA staff member is from April 16. Microsoft has not come out with an official solution at this time.
