Today, Microsoft released a range of newOffice 365 announcementsfor small and medium-sized businesses. With this announcement, all small and medium business plans will begin using Microsoft’s new Microsoft 365 brand.
Effective April 21, 2020, these products will automatically receive new names:
With the change, the features and costs for each plan will not change, and while these changes are in name only, they represent a larger shift in Microsoft’s approach to transforming Office beyond the apps that most of us know and love.
It should be noted that these plans will not be impacted:
Office 365 for Enterprise
Office 365 for Firstline
Office 365 for Education
Office 365 for Government
Microsoft alsoannouncednew Microsoft 365 Personal and Family subscriptions with more consumer-oriented features.
