Earlier this week, Microsoftrolled out PowerToys version 0.41.3that brought a bunch of improvements to the suite of tools, including a new Awake tool. Today, the company has followed up with a minor update to fix a high CPU usage bug and a few other issues in the tool (viaNeowin).

If you’re unfamiliar, the new PowerToys Awake feature allows users to keep their PC awake on-demand either indefinitely or for a specific time. It has been designed to help people focus on their important tasks; however, some users have beenexperiencing very high CPU consumptionwhile running the Awake tool.

The company says that the latest patch aims to the high CPU usage issue in version 0.41.3. The update also comes with improvements to the PowerToys Run, FancyZones, and other utilities.

If you are interested in trying out PowerToys on Windows 10, you can download the version 0.41.4 update from theGitHub releases page. However, existing PowerToys users can also install the latest version manually directly through the tool.
