It’s been a few days since Microsoft releasedPowerToys version 0.27, but the software giant has already rolled out a maintenance update for Windows 10 users. PowerToys v0.27.1, which is described as a “patch release,” improves the stability and quality of various tools, including FancyZones and Color Picker.

According to Microsoft, we should expect to see the next major release (PowerToys version 0.29) by the end of December. This update should bring the much-anticipated video conference mute feature which is currently available for users on theexperimental version. The company has alsoteased a new featurefor Fancy Zones that makes it easier for users to create custom layouts.
