Since 2014, The Game Awards ceremony has been honouring the best video games released during the year. The annual show hosted by Canadian video games journalist will be held later today at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, and the software giant is celebrating the event today with alimited-time Game Awards saleon the Xbox Store.

Until tomorrow, December 13, you can take advantage of up to to 75% discounts on games such asTom Clancy’s The Division 2,A Plague Tale: Innocence,Borderlands 3,Call of Duty: Modern Warfare,Control,Destiny 2: Shadowkeep,Devil May Cry 5,Mortal Kombat 11,Metro Exodus, and more. Gears 5, Microsoft’s latest AAA game which received two nominations is also50% off, while Obsidian Entertainment’s The Outer Worlds is25% off.

The latter received a total of 4 nominations for the Game Awards 2019, including one for Game of the Year. Obsidian Entertainment is turning out to be a great acquisition for Microsoft, as The Outer Worlds has been doing very well for a brand new IP without an AAA budget. Now with Microsoft’s backing, we can only hope that this will become a very valuable franchise for Microsoft in the near future.

The Game Awards 2019 ceremony will kick off at 5:30 PM PT today, and Xbox head Phil Spencer will come back to the stage this year. The show will be live-streamed on many platforms includingMicrosoft’s Mixer, where you’ll be able toearn free “Mixpot” digital rewardsif logged in with your Microsoft account.

For most of the kids of his age, the Internet was an amazing way to play and communicate with others, but he was deeply impressed by the flow of information and how easily you can find anything on the web.

Prior to founding Windows Report, this particular curiosity about digital content enabled him to grow a number of sites that helped hundreds of millions reach faster the answer they’re looking for.
