Rare’s pirate adventure Sea of Thieves is continuing to grow as one of thebest Xbox gamesavailable. In fact, Rareconfirmedon Tuesday Sea of Thieves just had its best month ever with over 4.8 million active players in June 2021. This comes alongside the announcement of the freeA Pirate’s Lifeupdate, which added crossover content including new Tall Tales, with characters from Pirates of the Caribbean like Jack Sparrow and Davy Jones.

Sea of Thieves first launched back in March 2018, with numerous content updates since, including the extremely importantaddition of dogs. Earlier in 2021, Rare announced that Sea of Thieves crossed20 million lifetime players.

The Pirates of the Caribbean content isn’t stopping here either, with numerous new crustacean-inspired cosmetics in the Pirate Emporium. So if you want, you can dress your pirate up like the captain of the Flying Dutchman, no problem.
